Exercising My Rights

The information below pertains only to the processing of your child’s data in the DOREMy Data Warehouse for research purposes and applies regardless of the partner healthcare facility where your child was treated.

Exercising Your Rights:

You have the following rights regarding the data collected from your child and generated as part of their participation in research:

  • Right of access to the data,
  • Right to rectify erroneous data,
  • Right to erasure of data in case of unlawful processing,
  • Right to restrict processing of data, especially if it is disputed.

You also have the right to object to the processing of your child’s data.

Retention of Your Child’s Data:

Your data will be retained for 20 years in accordance with the CNIL’s guidelines on Health Data Warehouses and then deleted.

In the context of the DOREMy health data warehouse, these rights can be exercised through the physician in charge of the research or the health data warehouse, who alone knows your child’s identity (identified on the first page of this document).

If you have difficulty contacting them, you can send an email to the following address: doremy.drc@aphp.fr to exercise your rights.

You may object at any time to the collection of your child’s data in the DOREMy health data warehouse or to research conducted using the health data warehouse (specifically or altogether) without justification, with no consequence on the continuation of their treatment or the quality of care provided to them, and without consequence on the relationship with their physician.

If you encounter difficulties in exercising your rights, you may contact the Data Protection Officer of AP-HP at the following address: protection.donnees.dsi@aphp.fr, who can explain the recourse options available to you with the CNIL.

If, despite the measures implemented by the Promoter, you believe that your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority, the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL). This complaint to the CNIL can be made to the following address: https://www.cnil.fr/fr/adresser-une-plainte or CNIL – Complaints Department – 3 Place de Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 Paris Cedex 07.
